A tiny friend that lives in your notch
Coucou watches your AI coding agents — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Antigravity and more — lets you approve Claude Code and Codex requests from the notch, chat with Anthropic, Google AI or OpenAI, keeps an eye on Stripe, GitHub, Vercel, n8n and more, and follows you to your iPhone. Free and open source.

Step away from your Mac and Mochi follows you. The iPhone app goes as far into the Apple ecosystem as a dev tool can:
- Live Activity and Dynamic Island: lock your Mac while an agent works and Mochi moves to your Lock Screen. Allow or Deny a permission right from there.
- Notifications you can act on: Allow, Deny, pick an answer to Claude’s question, or reply to a finished agent.
- Face ID on every Allow: nothing runs on your Mac without your explicit tap.
- Talk to your agents: follow each session live, read the diffs, send the next instruction by text or voice.
- Widgets, Control Center, Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight and Focus filters.
- Your services up close: GitHub, Vercel, Stripe, Cal.com, n8n, Notion and Resend, with safe actions like re-running CI or redeploying.
- Through your own iCloud: no Coucou server sees your projects, commands or keys.
Coming to the Mac App Store and the App Store: one click to install, automatic updates, and the iPhone pairs with your Mac through iCloud. Until then, download the Mac app from GitHub.

Requires macOS 15 or later. No notch? Mochi sits in a small bar at the top of the screen. The Windows download is paused for now: Microsoft Defender wrongly flags the unsigned installer, and it will come back once that’s fixed. Windows users can build it from source. Linux: a beta is out (AppImage, .deb, .rpm), download it here.
